Personal Support Worker Diploma

Careers in healthcare, community and personal support are increasing with the baby boomers generation getting older. The Personal Support Worker (PSW) Diploma prepares students for an exciting and enriched career providing care and support for those who need it. Students will gain knowledge onhow to provide for children, adults and the elderly with effective assistance in various aspects of their lives including personal care, hygiene, medication management, mobility and household management.

Students will learn fundamental nursing skills, standard first aid, and also gain Basic Rescuer (Level C) CPR Certification. With hands-on experience during a clinical placement, our students develop the skills required to provide long-term care and support to patients and individuals in need.
