Dental Administrative Clerk Diploma

The Dental Administrative Clerk Diploma program provides students with the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to pursue an administrative position in a dental office. Because medical office administration skills are transferable to many medical setting, students can pursue careers in a range of healthcare fields.

Students will find out about the various aspects of dental care including terminology, anatomy, oral physiology, tooth morphology, dental disease, infection prevention and treatment, furthermore anesthesia and pain control. With hands-on experience during a clinical placement, students develop a comprehensive understanding of medical workplace procedures, treatment set up administration and case management.
